Meet our ABWA member – Maite Araiza
Maite is a recent FGCU grad working at the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center as an FTRI/Outreach Coordinator. She joined ABWA to connect with other women professionals and develop her own professionalism. Maite is excited to learn about all the different fields of work of our members and to create more friendships with successful and uplifting women. She willingly stepped in as our interim Secretary this spring. She volunteers as a mentor at Big Brothers/Big Sisters and she loves creative projects, reading and shelling at local beaches.

Empowering Women through Educational Scholarships
Today’s scholarship recipients are tomorrow’s leaders. ABWA members have provided opportunities for women to achieve their personal and professional best by championing educational opportunities through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF).
